Payment Center of Excellence

Tarang formed its Payment Center of Excellence in 2004 recognizing the strategic importance of being a thought leader in this domain

The stated objectives for the Center of Excellence are:

  • Build a body of payment industry experts who have had years of experience in domain architecting and building next generation payment solutions
  • Be a participant of recognized bodies in the Industry and contribute to the growth of the Industry
  • Build Proof-Of-Concepts for emerging solutions so that the knowledge can be shared with customers proactively
  • Build solutions and frameworks that Tarang could offer its customers
  • Training of Developers and Business Analysts on Payment concepts

The members of the COE at Tarang are the CEO, VP Payments, Engineering Manager, Project Managers, Product Managers, Architects, Technical Leads and Senior Developers. The COE is headed by a Senior Team member by rotation. It meets once a fortnight with agendas circulated well in advance.
